For agencies

Managing multiple client browser profiles in an agency

Agencies run a profile per client account. Braid Sync distributes shared tooling bookmarks and campaign tab groups across those profiles without mixing client data.

The shape of the problem

An agency ends up with a browser profile per client account, multiplied by every person who touches that client. Each profile needs the same internal tooling links and none of another client's material. Doing that by hand means every new hire spends a week rebuilding bookmarks that already exist elsewhere.

A convention that scales

  • One shared folder. Internal tools, brand assets, process docs, the status page. Shared to every profile.
  • One local folder per client profile. Never shared, so client data cannot leak sideways into another engagement.
  • Named tab groups per campaign. Nominate the group so anyone working that campaign receives it collapsed and ready.
  • A naming rule. Prefix client folders with the client code so the tree sorts predictably in every profile.

The full operational version — onboarding, offboarding, and what to do when a client revokes access — is in how agencies manage multiple client browser profiles.

Data boundaries

Braid Sync never carries cookies, sessions or passwords between profiles, so a shared bookmark folder cannot become a shared login. Client isolation stays exactly where the browser puts it. See security and data handling before you roll this out to a team.

Licensing beyond five accounts

The $20 one-time licence covers up to five accounts. Teams running more than that move to month-to-month pricing with central seat management — email sales@braidsync.com with the number of accounts and we will quote it plainly.
