Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Growth Agency when you use Braid Sync.
Effective: 1 September 2026 · braidsync.com/terms · v0.1
The short version
- Try Braid Sync free for 7 days. No card, no automatic charge.
- The lifetime licence is a single $20 payment covering up to five accounts for one person.
- Don't resell the licence, share it beyond your own accounts, or misuse the sync.
- You can stop at any time by uninstalling the extension.
- Not happy? Email refunds@braidsync.com within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.
- Your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.
1Who these terms are with
Braid Sync is operated by Growth Agency (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Braid Sync browser extension, or by using braidsync.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, don't use the extension.
2Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Braid Sync on the browser profiles and devices covered by your plan. The lifetime licence covers up to five accounts belonging to one person; team and agency use beyond that is arranged separately.
You may not resell, sublicense, rent out, or share your licence key with people outside your own accounts, and you may not copy, decompile, or reverse-engineer the extension except where the law allows it.
3Trial, payment and refunds
The 7-day trial gives you full features with no card required and does not convert into a charge on its own. To continue afterwards, you buy the lifetime licence — a single payment, with no renewal and no subscription.
Payment is taken by our payment processor, acting as merchant of record. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude local taxes.
Refunds: if Braid Sync doesn't work for you, email refunds@braidsync.com within 7 days of purchase with your licence details and we'll refund it in full, back to the original payment method. After 7 days we can't offer a refund, except where the law where you live requires one.
4Acceptable use
- Use Braid Sync only for lawful purposes and only with accounts you control.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the sync service.
- Don't use the service to store or distribute unlawful or infringing material.
- Don't circumvent licence limits or tamper with licence verification.
We may suspend or end a licence that is used in breach of these rules, with notice wherever it's practical to give it.
5Your data
Braid Sync stores only the titles and URLs of the items you choose to sync, plus your account and licence details. What we collect, how long we keep it, and your rights are set out in full in the privacy policy at braidsync.com/privacy, which forms part of these terms.
You remain responsible for the bookmarks and tabs you choose to sync, and for keeping your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose.
6Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep sync reliable but can't promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, browser updates, and third-party outages can interrupt it. We may add, change, or withdraw features; if we withdraw something significant that your licence relied on, we'll tell you first.
7Warranty and liability
Braid Sync is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent permitted, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything the law says can't be limited.
8Ending the agreement
You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the extension and closing your account; your synced data is deleted as described in the privacy policy. We may end it if you materially breach these terms. Sections on data, liability, and governing law survive termination.
9Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The “Effective” date above always reflects the current version, and we'll notify you of significant changes in the extension or by email before they take effect.
10Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and disputes go to the courts of South Africa, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live.
